Groundwater Quality monitoring Guidelines

This document aims at providing a set of guidelines for groundwater quality sampling with an emphasis on regional monitoring networks. These protocols were developed as part of the Groundwater Quality in the Murray-Darling Basin Project. This is a Murray-Darling Basin Commission - Natural Resources Management Strategy funded project involving the four States within the Basin and the Commonwealth. The objective of this project is to determine the basic design, key parameters and research requirements for the establishment of a groundwater quality monitoring program for the Murray-Darling Basin and to ensure its implementation.

Groundwater Modeling guide booklet

This booklet describes general guidelines for groundwater flow modeling that are designed to reduce the level of uncertainty for model study clientele, including resource management decision makers and the community, by promoting transparency in modeling methodologies and encouraging consistency and best practice.
Guidance is provided to non-specialist clientele to outline the steps involved in scoping, managing and evaluating the results of groundwater modeling studies. Guidance is also provided to modeling specialists to indicate the technical standards expected to be achieved for a range of modeling project scopes.
