Welcome to the fourth issue (September 2006) of The River - the Basin Kids eNewspaper which is a student-focused publication - right here online.

Once again, the feature articles in this issue of the eNewspaper are based on articles which appear in the monthly Murray-Darling Basin Commission's e-letter. Those thought to be of most interest and relevance to young people are edited and illustrated to make them of as much value to students as possible.
