Implementation of the Basin Salinity Management Strategy incorporates annual reporting to the Murray-Darling Basin Ministerial Council on progress towards meeting the Basin and end-of-valley targets and improving the Commission Salinity Registers.

The partner governments provide annual reports on salinity mitigation activities.

The cooperation of partner governments in contributing to these reports is greatly appreciated.

The 2005—06 Annual Implementation Report summarised here is the fifth in the annual report series.
